American Idol 2010 continues

Posted in American Idol, Concerts, Humor at 12:58 am by Administrator

We know who the top 24 are. We saw the sad elimination of 4 contestants last week. We will see 4 more exiting this week. I hope the performances are good this week. It seems that the contestants are not too interesting. I do not see a “WOW” factor on any of them. Although, there is Kasey, the good looking hunk. His voice is not so great, but I can surely settle for him singing me to sleep. LOL!

Let us talk about Ellen Degeneres. She is an interesting individual. I think she is smart with a weird head shape. I love her comments. She can be funny, but she needs to add more zest to her comments to be a little more catchy. As for Randy, he’s the same old Randy. I did not realize how short he is! As for Simon, I think he is bored. He has to tweak his style a little bit. As for Kara, she’s pretty and has a nice face. Her comments are too boring and straight-forward to me. I like Paula’s out of whack comments. Maybe Kara needs to take some paid meds? LOL!

Well, let’s see what the performances are like tomorrow evening……

American Idol 2010

I am not as excited to watch American Idol this year. I don’t miss the presence of Paula Abdul. Although, I did like her. The show does not have the same magic as it used to. They need more zest. I think the judges are predictable. They are too boring for me now.

I hope the show gets better towards the later part of the year. I do hope we find a true American Idol.

Rob Thomas & One Republic – San Diego Open Air Theatre

Posted in Concerts, Concerts / Stars at 3:47 pm by Administrator

One Republic gave an outstanding performance on October 21, 2009 at the San Diego State University Open Air Theatre. They were the opening band for Rob Thomas. Love the song “Apologize”.

Rob Thomas is an outstanding singer. He has such a great voice. I love the way he sings. Although his concert got a little boring. It seemed like we were listening to his CD on the radio. I guess he needs to make the show a little more lively. Maybe he should dance? LOL! Overall, it was an entertaining concert, his voice is awesome.

Here’s a joke my son told me:

Questions: Why can’t a nose be 12 inches???

Answer: Because, otherwise it would be A FOOT!

Quite funny huh? I never saw the answer coming when he told me the joke. My 5 year old loves to tell jokes. I think he got that from me. He rocks!

Stress and Rewards of Loan Modification

Posted in Loan Modification, Loans, Real Estate, Work at 3:31 pm by Administrator

The stress in loan modification comes with the terriroty. Times get tough and stressful when you are dealing with an “ass”. I do not blame the lenders directly because they have employees with different personalities. I cannot blame the employees either because they probably get fed up dealing with the same crap everyday.

I have read many stories about Litton Loan Servicing. I have dealt with them previously with another client. Never had a problem with them until I communicated with this other lady named, C Croft. She is the most narrowminded, rude, and most out of this world foreclosure person I have ever dealt with. I don’t understand how you can ask a client at the last minute to get a profit and lost statement prepared by a professional accountant. Most business owners, especially landlords, they do their own bookkeeping and at the end of the year turn in their paperwork to their accountants for tax preparation. It was the most absurd request I have ever encountered. She was denying our loan modification even before she reviews the financials.

Anyways, I am just glad that our case was reopened and reassigned to someone else. Thanks to the executives at Litton. I know there are some good hearted individuals within the company. Thank you to those who helped! I know that Litton would rather have a performing asset than a non-performing asset.

I used to work for a mortgage company that went under. I was in the financial reporting department so I know about the securitization deals and loan loss provisions, etc. It is pretty interesting when you add numbers by billions and millions. It’s amazing.

I am glad that the sale date for my client has been postponed. It was tough, but rewarding. I feel good about helping people save their home. I want them to have a home to live in and not have to go through the stress of moving out or simply being homeless! Off to the next case until this one gets modified! Wish me luck!

Loan Modification

Posted in Loan Modification, Loans, Real Estate, Work at 6:28 am by Administrator

I have been doing loan modification for a while. I hear a lot of stories from my customers how they were swindled out of their money by a former company who promised to lower their principal and get their loan modified. They realize that nothing has been done to their files once they receive a notice of default.

It is sad to see how people are desperate to keep their homes and will do anything to just do that. They scrape their last dollars only to give to some dishonest greedy jerk. How can they continue to live with a clear conscience. I guess Madoff is an example. What a greedy idiot!

Loan Modification is a great program for people who have experienced hardship. Let’s say you lost your job, your hours at work are reduced, you have over extended yourself with the credit cards or any other type of financial hardship. One thing to think of is to be honest with your application because your expenses does show on your bank statements and on your credit report. Having more expenses than income is key factor to getting approved, as long as the borrower is not too much in deficit.

Green Day Concert in San Diego

Posted in American Idol, Concerts, Concerts / Stars, Hello, Humor, Kids at 4:33 am by Administrator

I must admit, Green Day concert was the best I have seen since Michael Buble. Well, I really cannot compare both. They have different music genre. I took my two teenage step kids and my 5 year old, who fell asleep 15 minutes into Green Day. He tried so hard to stay awake, but swimming and all the running around finally caught up to him. I guess I am thankful he fell asleep because there was so much profanity used during the concert that it was best that he didn’t hear them. I’m referring of course to my 5 year old.

There was so much fire “booms”, I don’t exactly know what you call it but there were loud sounds that surprises me once in a while. These loud booms were unsuccessful in waking up my 5 year old.

The teenagers had a great time. Especially Arnaud, he was really enjoying himself. Andrea is a little bit more reserved, but I think she is still shy to show her true colors to us. We only see them during the summer. However, this year Andrea has decided to live with us and try high school life in the United States. Why? I would have loved to go to high school in France. I think France offers a far more better education than the US public schools. I guess teenagers have no clue to what’s best for them, just like when I was a teenager. My stepmom wanted to send me to Spain for high school. I thought it sucked, so I refused to go. What an ignorant huh? It’s true that we do not realize what is best for us until we are older.

Green Day, Rob Thomas and One Republic

Posted in Concerts, Concerts / Stars at 10:52 pm by Administrator

Concerts, ahh, finally I decided to splurge and buy tickets. We only live once on this earth, might as well live and do the things we want and enjoy. It is not everyday that I get to see a concert. I have been denying myself for a long time now. I think it’s about time I start having fun again instead of working all the time.

Green Day should be fun. I will see them next month and the following month is Rob Thomas. I am taking my 5 year old son. Hopefully he has fun too! It might be a bit too loud for him so I will bring some ear plugs for him. One Republic should be fun to watch as well. I love their songs.

I am also taking my husband and my two teenage step kids. I think we will have a great time at those concerts. I only see them once a year so we always try to do something special when they are around. For example, this weekend we are going to Magic Mountain. They have never been there, so I definitely know they will have a blasts. I sure did when I was their age!

The following week will be Disneyland for my toddler. He is turning 2! My goodness time flies too fast. Then after that, lots of beach trips. I actually enjoy bodyboarding. I had an awesome time last time. The waves were awesome at Del Mar. Maybe someday I will try surfing!

American Idol Finals

Posted in American Idol, Concerts, Concerts / Stars at 5:06 pm by Administrator

Well America, who is your choice for the next American Idol? Will it be Kris or Adam? Personally, I choose Kris because of his versatility. He can play musical instruments and sing as well. As for Adam, he has awesome vocals, but that’s it. I do not think he possess talents in musical instruments. It would be amazing if he knew how to play a guitar and can be a total rock star.

I am a bit melancholy that the season is over. I guess we have next year to look forward to. I do not watch any other television show aside from American Idol. It has become a part of my Tuesday and Wednesday evening rituals. The bright side is that I have the extra time to play with my children. My eldest grew up watching American Idol. He watches it with us, he enjoys the signing.

Well, we will see the results tonight America. Good luck to Adam and Kris. May the best man win!

Mother’s Day = Cinderella Day

Posted in Kids, Love, Marriage, Sunday Evenings at 6:42 am by Administrator

What is Mother’s Day? Is it a day to spoil mom, allow some “mom” time for herself, lunch with mom, dinner with mom, play with mom? I think Mother’s Day is a bit overrated. It is a marketing tool of some genius to generate money for businesses.

I had lunch with my family today (mom,my aunt, my husband, and my kids). It was a gorgeous day and a perfect day for a crepe lunch. I was not expecting to go to some small cafe because throughout the past years, we have been going to some grandiose buffet in a hotel, where we always stuff our face. This time it was in a small french crepe cafe. The food was great, however I did find hair in my food. We also waited a good half hour before we were seated. We had a reservation at noon, but the people have not left our table yet, so we were standing around with two hungry kids. I was started to get impatient, but it was Mother’s Day so I had to be NICE! OH, THEY DID NOT HAVE A HIGH CHAIR!!!!

My kids are great. I love them. I received a wonderful card from them. Although, I was expecting a gift from my husband, but I guess the lunch was it and a blouse. I had to ask for the blouse. HMM?? Makes me wonder, have we lost it? I need to be swept off my feet. I’m a bit disappointed because maybe I was expecting more. I was expecting romance. I guess it’s not Valentine’s Day. It seemed like an ordinary lunch day that we normally do, only at a crepe cafe this time. We stopped at a few stores before we headed home. My aunt bought me some clothes.

When we got home, time to go back to the same old chores. I was cooking, doing the dishes, doing the laundry. It never really felt like a special mother’s day to me. Mother’s Day should be called Cinderella Day. It does resemble the story of Cinderella. You party for a few hours, then you have a curfew, you return home and you are back to your house chores!

I think the notion of mother’s day is all marketing. Everyday should be a mother’s day because we toil so hard to keep our family happy. I love my kids dearly. I work, sleep, eat and live for my kids.
